Notes:
|
Andersen-Lundby was mainly a landscape artist, but he produced as well some paintings with seascapes and coastal scenes in the tradition of the Eckersberg School. He was mainly self-taught and exhibited from 1864 on at Charlottenborg in Copenhagen and from 1879 on in Munich and in other German and Austrian cities. In Munich he was appointed later Professor at the Academy and his works can be found in different Danish and German Museums, for instance in the Neue Pinakothek in Munich. |
