Note: This picture is painted in Watercolor by adding Gouache to several parts. Likely Reuben Chappell used for this composition also a better quality paper than for the following one. Note: The hull of the vessel has been heightened with white, the ensigns has been painted with Gouache color. Everything else is executed in watercolor, where the colors have been faded slightly.
