The Maritime Gallery "Herwig Simons Fine Arts" is located in the centre of Antwerp, surrounded by several other antique shops. The owner was previously himself a collector of Nautical Antiques, Ship Portraits and Weapons. Today Mr. Simons is one of the busiest dealers in this field. You can regularly find new items and pictures in his shop. He could show already several top quality ship portraits by Henry Mohrmann, Petrus Weyts, William Howard Yorke, Antonio Jacobsen and other artists. One of the Mohrmann paintings was sold to the Maritime Museum in Antwerp. Besides of pictures many other items dedicted to the sea are on offer (eg. furniture, instruments, models etc.)
The stock of Herwig Simons usually contains about a hundred different items. A small selection only is shown here. You are welcome to visit Mr. Simons, there are possibilities to park the car nearby. For directions or other information just send a fax or e-mail.
